Valour

Services

Strategy before aesthetics. Always.

Valour doesn’t sell loose deliverables. We take on the whole brand — from thesis to application — and lead every project through the six phases of the method. Before the what, the why of each service.

Strategy and positioning

Why it matters: aesthetics without strategy is just noise. This is where the brand decides who it is, who it competes against and why anyone should care — everything else derives from it.

Deliverables

  • Diagnosis and immersion in the business, market and competitors
  • Brand platform: essence, thesis, message architecture
  • Positioning and differentiation territory
  • Strategic direction for every touchpoint

Visual and verbal identity

Why it matters: identity is strategy made visible — and audible. Symbol, typography, colour and voice built as a system, not decoration.

Deliverables

  • Symbol, wordmark and complete identity system
  • Palette, typography and photographic direction
  • Tone of voice, vocabulary and brand signatures
  • Usage guidelines and component library

Naming

Why it matters: the name is the hardest brand decision to reverse. Naming demands method — research, verification and the courage to discard the obvious.

Deliverables

  • Semantic territory and decision criteria
  • Name routes with strategic rationale
  • Availability checks (domain, social, trademark with legal partners)
  • Supporting verbal system: tagline and signatures

Website and digital presence

Why it matters: the website is where the brand proves it is what it claims to be. Concept first, build second — never a template with a swapped logo.

Deliverables

  • Editorial concept and design of the site
  • Content architecture and copy in the brand’s voice
  • Build and publication (WordPress)
  • Component system for ongoing evolution

Content and retail

Why it matters: the brand lives at its touchpoints — from the feed to the storefront. Consistency between digital and physical is what separates identity from logo.

Deliverables

  • Content system: formats, templates and cadence
  • Visual pieces and scripts in the brand’s voice
  • Retail design: signage, environment and printed matter
  • Merch and brand materials

Ongoing creative direction

Why it matters: a brand is not a project with an end date — it is an asset to be directed. Valour stays on as the brand’s creative director, with flexible volume and deliberate intensity.

Deliverables

  • Monthly creative direction of the brand
  • Planning and review of everything the brand publishes
  • Evolution of the identity system into new contexts
  • Flexible volume: more intensity at launch, conscious adjustment after
